Dear Friends of Martin Dental Care

We are so happy to be safely open and doing what we love—seeing patients!

Once again, we are taking measures and have protocols in place to make sure our patients are as safe as possible. We follow the guidelines of the CDC, ADA and Ohio State Dental Board and we’re confident that our office will be one of the safest places you visit. Here are just some of the additional measures we’re taking to ensure your safety:

  • Our staff understands how important it is to follow stringent guidelines for the health and protection of our patients.
  • More than just frequent hand washing, everyone is wearing proper PPE including surgical masks, gowns, surgical hair covers, gloves and face shields.
  • We have installed an AirScrubber system throughout our building that uses UVC light with ActivePure technology to cleanse the air. This is the same technology NASA uses to protect astronauts on board the International Space Station. It’s proven effective against viruses, bacteria and other contaminants on surfaces and in the air.
  • Every surface is thoroughly wiped with bactericidal and virucidal agents.
  • Instruments are sterilized.
  • We have invested in new equipment at our office that will reduce aerosols and utilize HEPA filters to safely capture microbes such as viruses and other contaminants within biological aerosols.
  • We have installed our very own “sneeze guard” in the reception area.
  • We have a stringent pre-screening protocol to ensure that no patients or staff entering the office exhibit signs of COVID-19.
  • We are asking adults to plan to attend their appointments alone. A parent/guardian may accompany children or those with special needs.
  • We are taking temperatures of all staff and patients prior to entering.
  • We are asking anyone who enters to please wear a mask into the office.
  • We are also providing a pre-rinse mouthwash for patients before all appointments.
  • We are allowing greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you.
  • Appointments are being staggered to allow for social distancing and thorough disinfection between appointments.

Our staff has been working hard to provide care to all of our patients. For your convenience, we continue to offer appointments in the evening after work or school and on Saturdays! Thank you for your patience, and we are very happy to continue providing you with quality dental care.
